This position is in a commonly impacted area for hurricanes. The 2025 hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, but storms can occur outside of that window. Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the storm passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each storm as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position with Ochsner Health, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if a storm were to occur. You should not apply during this hurricane window if you are not comfortable with the above.

Position is cardiovascular specialty. Must have extensive experience with cardiovascular; also in robotics, general, ortho, and other specialties. Three years experience required. Unit does not accept first time travelers. Cardiovascular call required. Please only submit qualified candidates - if your traveler does not have the above specialty experience, they will be removed - NO EXCEPTIONS.

• Required charting system name: Community Hospital
• Preferred trauma level I experience
• Preferred trauma level II experience
• Travel experience required
• Certifications: BLS
• Skills: Circulate / Telemetry, Conscious Sedation

Facility does not accept local travelers. Must be over 65 miles from the facility address. Must have 2 years experience in specialty for all locations. (New Orleans operating room requires 3 years.) **NO CALL IN!** RTO must be on profile and brought up in the interview or there is a high chance offer's will be rescinded. Compact or LA license in hand upon submittal. Allied candidates booked with pending license - candidate must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing. Orientation held 5 days a week. References: Not required for submission, however 2 Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start contract. Recruiter, please obtain Manager/Supervisor contact information prior to submission. Charge RNs are NOT acceptable. PDF format AHA certifications are required. AWHONN Intermediate is required for L&D RN. CPI required for all CNA. ER nurses must have CPI, or be able to get it before start. This cert is somewhat difficult to get, so please be prepared for this. NURSYS Reports for RNs must be sent with profile. Please ensure that the NURSYS is up to date (within 4 weeks of submission date). Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before they can return as travel.
