Position type: Part-time, recurring (Fall 2026) with Winter and Spring opportunities possible Schedule: Weekday afternoons Compensation: $35/Hour About us: Fire & Knives is an experiential outdoor skills program that helps young people build confidence, competence, and independence through hands-on learning. Rooted in the belief that appropriate risk and real responsibility are essential to growth, the program teaches practical skills such as safe fire building, tool use, shelter construction, teamwork, and environmental stewardship. Role overview: The Assistant Instructor supports program delivery by helping manage small groups, reinforcing skill instruction, and ensuring sessions run smoothly. This is an ideal role for people building experience in outdoor or experiential programming.
