Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in compliance with established standards of care and the nursing process. In this role, you will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring effective coordination of care with other healthcare disciplines. You will utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to provide exceptional patient care.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for:

• Collecting relevant data regarding patients' health and situations.
• Analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Developing a plan that prescribes interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implementing care plans, coordinating care delivery, and promoting a safe healthcare environment.
• Evaluating progress towards attaining health outcomes.
• Identifying specific outcomes for patients or their situations.
• Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and compassionate care.
• Providing educational opportunities for patients and families, as well as team members.
• Participating in discharge planning to facilitate continuity of care.
• Delegating tasks appropriately and coordinating duties among the healthcare team.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility - Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice - Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor - Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor - Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor - Required
