Position Overview

Enjoy a $18,000 bonus paid out monthly over six months after 30 days of employment, available to candidates with at least two years of cardiac catheterization lab experience.

This role is ideal for a licensed Radiologic Technologist specializing in cardiac catheterization, responsible for ensuring high-quality imaging and assisting cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate fluoroscopy equipment to capture precise images, manage billing for procedures, and support the cardiologist as a scrub assistant. Additionally, you will monitor hemodynamic data and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
• Operate and ensure optimal performance of cardiac catheterization imaging equipment.
• Assist physicians by capturing proper images and sequences for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Coordinate communication flow within the lab, including pages, specimen handling, and housekeeping requests.
• Perform duties as a Monitor Technician, acquiring hemodynamic and electrophysiological data through computerized systems.
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and document procedural changes accurately.
• Serve as a scrub technician during coronary arteriography and cardiac interventions.
• Maintain proficiency across Radiographic Technician, Monitor Technician, and Scrub Technician roles through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred; recent graduates from Radiology Technology programs within the last two years or licensed Radiation Technologists with five years of recent experience may also be considered.

Licenses and Certifications

• Required: CRT (Radiologic Technology certificate), Fluoroscopy permit, and ARRT certification.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• Additional unit-specific certifications may be necessary.
