Construction Project Manager (Commercial / Multifamily / Residential) About the Opportunity We’re partnered with a well-established general contractor in the DMV area seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys client interaction, and can manage multiple projects while keeping everything on schedule and within budget. Projects may include commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, or high-end residential construction . Key Responsibilities • Manage full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and clients • Lead subcontractor buyout and contract negotiations • Review drawings, specifications, and ensure project alignment • Track costs, change orders, and overall financial performance • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards Qualifications • 5+ years of construction experience (Project Engineer → PM level) • Experience managing ground-up or large-scale renovation projects • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) • Strong communication and leadership skills What They’re Looking For • Someone who can own projects from start to finish • Strong financial and operational awareness • Ability to build relationships with clients and subcontractors • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented • Competitive base salary (based on experience) • Performance-based bonus structure • 401(k) with match • Growth opportunities within a strong pipeline of work Why This Role Join a company with a strong reputation, consistent backlog, and a collaborative team environment.
