Assistant Project Manager Location: US-CO-Denver ID: 2026-2013 Category: Project Team Position Type: Full-Time Remote Work: No Overview What You Will Do: Assist in developing project proposals by determining time frames, costs, procedures, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project. Work with the documentation group to have all required submittal documents ready and organized. Purchase parts, supplies, and technical instrumentation per specifications and system design. Act as liaison for inter‑department coordination and day‑to‑day operations for assigned projects. Maintain project documentation and update with change orders. Participate in project review meetings with other contractors and customer representatives. Review change orders and update pricing to maintain profitability and budget constraints. Assist with preparation of project reports for management, general contractors, customers, engineering firms, and others. Maintain Job Hazard Analysis. Fill in for Project Manager when needed for meetings, etc. What You Will Bring: Basic Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, project management, engineering, or related field. 3 years full‑time experience in architecture, pre‑construction, construction, or related field. Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to apply technological solutions to planning or implementation assignments. Preferred Experience working with industry tools and references including estimating (RS Means or similar) and scheduling tools (MS Project or similar), CAD or BIM based programs, visual communication software (Bluebeam or similar), project tracking and document control software (Procore or similar). Strong understanding of programming, design, and construction principles. Previous experience in industrial automation. Experience with team and customer meetings generating RFIs, Action Item List, and Meeting Minutes. Experience utilizing customer portals for project documentation such as Procore. Controls System knowledge of Rockwell hardware and AVEVA Software. Datacenter BMS and EPMS Equipment knowledge. Experience working with Electrical installation contractors.
