Specimen Processor II - Full Time-1st Shift

Labcorp seeks a specimen processor for its El Paso laboratory to prepare, identify, label, and ship patient samples for testing. The role involves data entry, specimen handling, and meeting production targets in a Monday–Friday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and route to staging areas
- Accurately identify, label, pack and ship specimens to testing facilities
- Perform timely data entry of patient information
- Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
- Resolve and document problem specimens to meet production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens with attention to detail
- Accurate specimen identification and labeling skills
- Strong data entry and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Pass standardized color blindness test
