Maintenance Mechanic

In this hands-on position, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems. You will use your mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to minimize downtime, support production goals, and ensure equipment reliability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems.
• Perform emergencies and unscheduled repairs during production operations.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance activities during equipment downtime.
• Perform basic machinist duties as required.
• Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions; replace or repair defective components; test equipment; and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance functions.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and material-handling equipment.
• Identify faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual operating conditions and report findings to appropriate supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

Education: High School Diploma or GED required Technical school certification or vocational training preferred.

Experience : Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Skills :

• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with assistance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot, cold, wet, and noisy environments.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and other flexible schedules as needed.
