Crate Builder $15.00–$16.00 per hour | Full-time, 7am-4pm Chesapeake, VA Givens is hiring a Crate Builder to build crates, skids, and custom wood packaging. If you have carpentry experience and are comfortable using power tools, we want to meet you. Responsibilities Build crates, skids, and wood packaging from customer specifications Use saws, drills, nail guns, and hand tools Secure, wrap, pad, and band products for shipment Attach required labels and identification Requirements Ability to read a tape measure Manufacturing or carpentry experience Experience using saws, drills, and nail guns Basic math skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and safety Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Life insurance Paid time off Short-term and long-term disability Givens has provided warehousing, distribution, transportation, and packing and crating services since 1957.
