Prior Authorization Pharmacy Case Manager (Remote)

A-Line Staffing is hiring a  Prior Authorization Pharmacy Case Manager to support patients in accessing specialty medications through a high-touch patient support program. This is a  full-time (40 hrs/week), W2 contract role and is  remote (equipment provided).

Pay

• $20.00/hr (W2)

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Must be flexible to work shifts within  Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–8:00 PM Central

Mandatory Training (Central Time)

• Training:   October 5, 2026 – November 6, 2026 , 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT (mandatory attendance)
• Go-live:   November 9, 2026

Remote / Home Office Requirements

• Dedicated, quiet, private workspace (distraction-free)
• Hardwired internet required (no Wi-Fi, satellite, or cellular)
• Minimum internet specs:
• • Download: 15 Mbps
  • Upload: 5 Mbps
  • Ping: max 30 ms
• Company provides computer/technology ; you provide qualifying internet service

Key Responsibilities

• Handle  inbound/outbound calls with patients, provider offices, specialty pharmacies, and other stakeholders (goal: one-call resolution when possible)
• Manage the patient journey end-to-end:  benefit investigation/verification → prior auth/appeals support → medication access/delivery
• Coordinate with insurance companies, providers, and pharmacies to ensure timely access to therapy
• Help patients understand  coverage and out-of-pocket costs and explain appeal processes when needed
• Process enrollments via fax/phone/electronic submissions
• Review documentation thoroughly and ensure accurate case updates/data entry

Qualifications (Preferred)

• 2–4 years patient-facing / high-touch customer interaction experience
• Prior  hub services / patient support experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of  Medicare/Medicaid/commercial payers and coverage guidelines preferred
• Strong computer skills (data entry, MS Office) and excellent communication/problem -solving skills
• Empathy, persistence, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
