Position Summary

With the direction of the lead, this position is responsible for the assembly of mechanical portion of packaged pumping systems. Ensure our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality.

Essential Functions

• Reading and understanding assembly drawings and dimensions
• Operate common hand power tools
• Maintenance of stock materials required for layout
• Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
• Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
• Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care
• Report any machinery issues to management
• Follow production guidelines and specifications
• Operate Forklift within proper safety parameters
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Follow all written and verbal instructions
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Light welding as needed.
• Polishing of materials

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 + years’ experience in a warehouse
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Able to work 8+ hour shifts standing
• Flexible schedule and available to work weekends if necessary
• Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Willing to work overtime if needed or weekends.
• Willingness to always comply with all safety guidelines
• Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
• Maintenance, inventory, and forklift experience
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and administer multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to exercise sound judgment
• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
