Jackson and Coker is seeking a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for a remote locum tenens opportunity near the California Bay Area. This role offers a flexible schedule of 4-5 days per week, providing outpatient coverage for children and adolescents. While primarily remote, the position requires initial onsite onboarding and quarterly onsite visits, with a preference for hybrid or onsite work if possible.Practice InfoClient prefers onsite or a hybrid but will consider 100% remote tele health, if necessary.Use Teams and Doxy.Me for tele health.Avatar is their EHR.They see patients ages 3-21.For support staff, client has an MA and 2 RNs.Will also see patients at two group homes, 6-8 female teenagers.ResponsibilitiesProvide child and adolescent outpatient coverage.Conduct initial evaluations (1.5 hours).Perform medication follow-ups (30 minutes).See patients transferred from another doctor who have already had an initial evaluation (one hour).See patients in the Juvenile Hall for a half day one day a week (currently two hours on Wednesdays for a team meeting and two hours on Thursdays seeing patients via remote tele health).CompensationWeekly Direct DepositTop Rated Malpractice InsuranceIn-House Travel Agency24/7 Recruiter AvailabilityExperienced In-House Privileging CoordinatorsShift & ScheduleNeed is for 4-5 days/32-40 hours a week.Hours: 8A-5P M-F pacific time with a required one hour lunch break from 12noon to 1pm every day they work.No call.RequirementsMust come in for one week onsite for onboarding and orientation and training on EHR, etc. before you start doing remote tele health.Prefer to come onsite at least 1 week per quarter.Must be computer savvy.Board Certification is preferred, not required.All candidates must be child & adolescent trained.
