2nd Shift Machine Operator

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Title: 2nd Shift Machine Operator, 2nd Shift Req ID: 10382 Reports to: Production Supervisor Classification: Nonexempt Work Arrangement: POSITION: Machine Operator HOURS: 4:30 PM - until the end of production .Monday through Thur, with availability to work weekends and overtime. EMPLOYMENT: Full time JOB SUMMARY: Operates equipment to meet product specification and production standards, following all quality and safety requirements while communicating with production team.

JOB DUTIES:

Set up and operate processing machines, including leveling, filling, speed and other mechanical adjustments such as belt height, scraping tubes, filter checks, temperature checks, batter tests, oil monitoring, etc. Perform set up and machine specifications by following batch sheet and load formulation information for each 8-digit product code specification. Accurately complete paperwork and enter it into computer systems. Perform other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold; noise; humidity; moving vehicles; slippery floors; possible heavy and repeated lifting. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required. QUALIFICATIONS: Must complete required safety training for Lock Out/Tag Out, Powered Industrial Trucks, Hazard Communication, etc. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to perform basic data entry into a computer system on a Windows environment. SAP Experience a plus. Experience and knowledge with HACCP programs a plus.
