New Construction Coordinator Spectrum AC Full-Time | Monday-Friday Pay: Based on experience Coordinate Projects That Keep New Construction Moving Spectrum AC is seeking an experienced New Construction Coordinator to support our growing HVAC new construction division. This is primarily an office-based position responsible for coordinating residential and light commercial HVAC projects from scheduling through completion. While the majority of your time will be spent in the office, occasional visits to job sites may be required to review project progress, meet with builders, assist with field coordination, or resolve scheduling and installation issues. We're looking for someone who understands the construction process and can confidently communicate with project managers, builders, field supervisors, installers, vendors, and customers to help keep projects on schedule. What You'll Do Coordinate residential and light commercial HVAC new construction projects from scheduling through completion Schedule installation crews and communicate timelines with builders, contractors, and project managers Monitor project schedules and adjust installation dates as construction timelines change Order equipment and materials while tracking deliveries to ensure projects stay on schedule Maintain communication with field supervisors, installers, vendors, and office staff throughout each project Prepare and maintain job files, permits, work orders, and project documentation Coordinate inspections, punch list items, and project closeout activities Update project schedules and maintain accurate records within company software Occasionally visit job sites to verify project progress, assist with coordination, and communicate with field personnel when needed Provide administrative and operational support to help ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and to company standards What We're Looking For Previous experience coordinating new construction projects, construction scheduling, project coordination, or operations within the HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or construction industry is required. Because this role may require occasional field visits and communication with installation teams, candidates should have a solid understanding of construction processes and be comfortable working in both office and job site environments. Successful candidates will have: Previous HVAC, mechanical, or construction coordination experience required Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities Strong attention to detail and follow-through Experience with Microsoft Office and scheduling or project management software Professional communication skills when working with builders, contractors, vendors, and internal teams Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Positive, team-oriented attitude Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Who Thrives in This Role?
