Overview
Group 1 Automotive is a fast-growing leader in automotive retail, and we are looking to add qualified AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN/MECHANICS to our teams across Tulsa, OK. Our locations include South Pointe Chevrolet, South Pointe CJDR, South Pointe Honda and BMW of Tulsa.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
