Veterinary Technician Manager - Emergency

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician Manager to join our Emergency team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in North Scottsdale, AZ. About You You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by leading the delivery of high-quality 24/7 emergency care for our patients. Your life-changing work will range from directing clinical teams and overseeing fast-paced ER workflows to ensuring excellence in patient care, staff performance, and operational support across all emergency services. This is a full-time Leadership role that reports directly to the Hospital Administrator. You'll work closely with the Training Coordinator and hospital leadership to oversee training, performance, scheduling and consistency across the Emergency department while remaining the primary point of contact for all Emergency Technicians and Assistants. Your Experience & Skills Minimum 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care) required CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred/ideal Superior/advanced technical skills Has 2+ years of supervisory experience (in a veterinary clinic setting) Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care) Possesses a positive work attitude Self-motivated Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills You’ll Grow with Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
