Certifications: BLS (Preferred: CST)

Must-Have: Experience handling total joints, robotics, general laparoscopic cases, urology, hand and foot, breast cases including reconstructions.

Description:

The position is for a Surgical Tech in the operating room.

The responsibilities include assisting in various surgical procedures.

The department performs a mix of outpatient procedures, including orthopedic, general, Client, robotic, plastics, ENT, urology, hand and foot, and breast reconstruction.

The average number of cases per day exceeds 400 monthly.

Candidates should be able to manage total joint and robotic surgeries as well as laparoscopic procedures.

The environment is characterized by a strong team culture and engagement from staff, anesthesia, and surgeons.

Attributes for success include being a hard worker, fast and efficient, attentive to detail, and a team player.

Will consideration for call shifts and flexibility in scheduling is essential.

Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care, and adherence to this policy is required.

Candidates should be prepared for call shifts during weekdays, weekends, and at least one holiday per year.

Employee attire is provided.

This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing setting.

Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for collaboration within the team.

Additional time off (RTO) requests should be minimized, with initial requests submitted upfront.

Candidates will be scheduled for 1 to 3 days of unit-specific orientation.
