General Superintendent - Commercial

General Superintendent – West Palm Beach, FL Location: West Palm Beach, FL Salary: Up to $155,000, based on experience Job Type: Full-Time About The Role We are looking for an experienced General Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout the West Palm Beach area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong background managing complex projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate will have experience across high-end custom homes and commercial construction , with exposure to projects such as private schools, healthcare facilities, churches, and other high-quality institutional or commercial builds. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee construction activities from mobilization through project completion. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel. Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met. Coordinate daily site operations, inspections, deliveries, and manpower. Review plans, specifications, and construction documents to identify potential issues. Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and site organization. Track project progress and proactively address scheduling or field issues. Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate subcontractor activities. Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and established quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and punch lists. Help drive projects to successful completion while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project teams. Qualifications 8+ years of construction experience, with significant Superintendent or General Superintendent experience. Proven experience managing high-end custom residential and/or commercial construction projects. Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred: Private schools Healthcare facilities Churches / religious facilities High-end custom homes Commercial buildings Institutional construction Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, scheduling, and field coordination. Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to identify problems early and develop practical solutions. Procore experience is a plus. OSHA certification is preferred. Compensation Up to $155,000 annually , depending on experience and qualifications.
