Job Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be motivated, team-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Weekend work is required, with typical frequency not exceeding every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients as per established protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care as necessary.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapy procedures and equipment.

Schedule and Shifts

This position is for a night shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. There is no block scheduling.

Call Requirements

For 36-hour contracts, you may be required to take up to 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule. A maximum of 4 call shifts could occur within a 13-week contract. Call shifts will be limited to one per week, and while on call for night shifts, you will only be on call from 4 PM to 8 PM.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
