Location: Jay Hospital in Portland IN. This location is based inside of the hospital and provides both IP and OP therapy services. Therapists may be asked to split time between IP and OP depending on volumes.

Shift: This position is a PRN and shifts will be on an as needed basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

New/Upcoming Graduates encouraged to apply! Provides occupational therapy services for the treatment of physical and psychological dysfunctions. Provides direct patient care using a variety of sensorimotor functional educational recreational and social activities designed to help patients regain physical or mental functioning. Appropriately supervises occupational therapy assistants support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care education and department operations. Provides services for inpatient and outpatient. There is a great team of therapists in this facility with many opportunities to learn from colleagues. Outpatient OT and PT including neuro rehabilitation orthopedics and vestibular rehabilitation are among the services offered here.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in treating neurological and orthopedic conditions is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail
• Great bedside manners
• Adaptable to fast paced settings
