Job Title: Hospital Nurse Supervisor Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Manager Duration: 27 weeks Shift: Day/Evening/Night Hours per Shift: Variable Experience: - Three (3) to five (5) years of hospital-based nursing experience. - Nursing leadership experience in a hospital setting, including managerial or supervisory roles such as charge nurse, educator, and resource nurse roles. License: - Current RN licensure. Certifications: - Current BLS certification. Must-Have: - Pediatric experience. - Utilization of EHR. - Experience with electronic bed board and surgery scheduling preferred. Description: This position is responsible for coordinating and providing family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. The candidate will be accountable for professional practice, including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. This role provides real-time coordination of hospital operations, staffing, patient placement, and transfer activities. The expectation is to ensure safe, efficient, and timely patient care delivery across the system. Responsibilities include managing staffing and ensuring appropriate patient placement while facilitating effective communication among healthcare providers. The candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to work flexible hours as needed.
