As a Medical Assistant, reporting to Manager, Central Administration, you will be the first contact for patient care, responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care. Working onsite, you will perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. You will typically work on semi-routine assignments.

Medical Assistant Role Overview:

• Perform clinical responsibilities including discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, and administering medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize and clean equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document information into the electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Deliver direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows.
• Decisions typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.
• Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards but has latitude over prioritization/timing.
• Follow standard procedures that allow opportunity for interpretation/deviation.

Medical Assistant working hours: Monday to Friday 8AM - 5PM. Scheduled 40 hours per week. Local travel may be required; mileage is reimbursed.

Pay range: $43,000 - $56,200 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
