Clinical Psychologist

Job Specific Duties The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Adhere to the guidelines set by the state licensing board, the American Psychological Association's Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges. Conduct thorough psychological evaluations by using information gathered from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and relevant collateral sources. Establish psychiatric diagnoses in line with the criteria outlined in the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Provide psychological treatment to individuals and groups, assisting medical and surgical patients in coping with illnesses or injuries. Support the rehabilitation process for patients. Work Schedule The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, requiring 8.5 hours of work between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM, which includes a half-hour lunch break. There are no weekend, on-call, or holiday obligations! Minimum Qualifications Education: A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from a program accredited by the APA. Internship/Residency: Completion of a psychology internship accredited by the American Psychological Association. Experience: At least one year of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist is necessary. License: Must hold an active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in any state. Life Support Certification: Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification from AHA or ARC is required.
