Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Whispering Winds, you will work with a diverse array of clients from various backgrounds, including individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, chronic emotional challenges, and those seeking personal growth and insight. Our client base includes adolescents, adults, and families, allowing you to leverage your expertise in different therapeutic approaches tailored to distinct age groups and cultural contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active license/certification to practice in Arizona as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of three years of experience providing therapy to clients facing various psychological challenges, demonstrating a strong ability to establish rapport and deliver effective interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building trusting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
