Job Details Job Location: Clinical OBH - Cincinnati, OH 45206 Salary Range: $15.00 - $22.75 Hourly Role: Respite Provider (Per Required Need, PRN) Essential Functions Provide short-term, temporary relief to the caregiver of a client between the ages of birth and 21 and who has a mental health diagnosis. Respite services may include general supervision of the client, meal preparation, and hands‑on assistance with personal care that are incidental to the supervision of the client. Plan and implement social, recreational, and educational activities and act as a positive role model. Participate as a member of an inter‑disciplinary treatment team to implement strategies to assist and encourage progress toward meeting goals. Provide age‑appropriate life skills building. Build and maintain professional relationships with parents/guardians to encourage communication and parental support. Complete progress notes and client documentation within specified timeframe. Qualifications At least 21 years old. High school diploma or equivalent. Trauma informed, interpersonal skills, patience/tolerance, flexible/adaptable and problem‑solving skills. Valid driver’s license and car for travel. Preferred Education and Experience Understanding of how to engage a person with mental illness, psychiatric symptoms and impact on functioning and behavior.
