Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position is based in Cooperstown, New York. This travel assignment requires providing specialized obstetric care in a facility with a busy delivery unit. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role involves working in a dynamic environment supporting patient care during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, scheduled as rotating shifts on an 8-week cycle, including every other weekend and holiday.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
  • Education: Relevant nursing degree and active license in the state of New York
  • Experience: Preferred 3+ years of obstetric experience; consideration given to candidates with less than 3 years if prior travel experience or familiarity with specialized obstetric settings
  • Location: Must be willing to work in Cooperstown, NY

• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior travel experience in obstetrics or specialized OB settings
• Additional Information:
  • Contract Length: 12 to 13 weeks (shorter durations are not ideal due to coverage needs)
  • Holiday Coverage: Required to work every other holiday, similar to full-time staff, with holiday requests approved based on unit needs
