This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")**Procurement Management:*** Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.* Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to maintain optimal stock.**Vendor Relations:*** Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.* Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.* Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.**Compliance & Reporting:*** Ensure adherence to company purchasing policies and regulatory requirements.* Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other data.* Generate reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.**Continuous Improvement:*** Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.* Stay updated on market trends and new product offerings.* Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful platform operation, development, and business continuity.## Qualifications**POSITION REQUIREMENTS*** Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.* Must be at least 18 years of age or older.* Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).* Daily in person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX.* Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL*** U.S. High School Diploma or GED required*.** Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field (preferred).* 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.* ISM/ASM or similar credentials preferred.**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES*** Strong negotiation and communication skills.* Analytical mindset with attention to detail.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.* Oracle experience preferred.**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT**The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. They will also need to speak clearly and audibly, as well as have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and /or other sounds (e.g., building alarms) deriving from in person speech, telephone, or other remote speech. No adverse environmental conditions are expected.
