Buck & Rider is looking for Prep Cooks to join our elite culinary team!

At Buck & Rider, we take pride in serving the freshest seafood flown in daily and hand-cut steaks, in a high-energy, high-volume environment. We are looking for a dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team and support the backbone of our scratch kitchen. What you'll do:

• Assist chefs by preparing high-quality ingredients with precision and consistency
• Follow recipes and portion standards to support smooth line service
• Wash, chop, measure, and store produce, seafood, meats, and other items with care
• Maintain a clean and organized prep area, following food safety and sanitation standards
• Work efficiently to support a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
• Support team members and jump in where needed to ensure flawless service

What we're looking for:

• Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred, but not requiredwe'll train the right person with the right attitude
• Strong knife skills and a passion for learning classic prep techniques
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization

Requirements:

• Ability to read recipes and follow their instructions, measurements, etc.
• Keen eye for plating and presentation
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Punctual, reliable, and ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation
• Ability to spend long periods on your feet and lift 50lbs
