Job Description

The General Construction Technician plays a vital role in supporting residential construction projects by performing precise measurement and layout tasks, framing, and providing assistance with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work. Working within small teams of 1-5 members, the technician collaborates closely with contractors and regularly travels to multiple job sites to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate measurement and layout for construction tasks
Assist with framing and structural assembly
Support electrical, plumbing, or HVAC installation as needed
Collaborate effectively with small construction teams
Follow safety protocols on job sites
Travel regularly to various residential construction locations

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in general construction
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with framing and structural work
Proficient in using power tools
Strong knowledge of safety compliance
Effective problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Physical stamina to meet job demands
