About the Role The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is a 16‑week development focused role that prepares you for a CVS Store Manager position. The program includes virtual and hands‑on learning experiences and support from a District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and a Store Manager coach. Key Responsibilities Actively engage with your leader in key learning experiences and support the promotion path. Serve as a member of the management team and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues to support the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Accept promotion roles within the market where you are assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications Communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Perform customer care duties and provide high levels of service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager at any location in the designated market. Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Program Details Anticipated weekly hours: 40 Time type: Full time Pay range: $18.50 - $28.67 per hour (base hourly rate or full‑time salary) Benefits This full‑time position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources based on eligibility.
