# Job Opportunity – High Risk OB Registered Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: 25-bed high risk obstetrics unit; patient ratios range from 1:1 to 6:1 depending on acuity; 3 weekend shifts per schedule period Highlights: - Specialize in high risk antepartum care, labor and delivery, and cesarean section procedures in a dedicated women's health facility- Comprehensive experience with critical obstetric interventions including magnesium drips, bereavement care, and vaginal deliveries- Work with advanced documentation systems (Connect, Expanse EMR) in a well-supported environment with charge nurse and unit secretary coverage- Floating opportunities across women's services including OB/ED, mother-baby, and labor and delivery units- Unit requires ability to circulate cesarean sections and manage high-acuity maternal patients- Collaborative team environment focused on exceptional maternal and fetal outcomes Requirements: - Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required- AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification required- High risk antepartum nursing experience strongly preferred- Labor and delivery experience with demonstrated competency in cesarean section care- Experience managing magnesium drips and other high-risk obstetric protocols- Gynecological nursing experience preferred- Professional dress code adherence (navy blue, seal blue, or grey scrubs) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized women's hospital environment dedicated exclusively to maternal and newborn care.
