Senior Staff Accountant

Role Description The Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in monthly processes, quarterly reporting and reconciliation.Opportunity to work under an experienced Controller with growth opportunities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in the monthly accounting close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries Import daily revenue into accounting software Reconcile daily revenue with deposits Investigate and resolve any irregularities Reconcile and prepare the lead sheet for Fixed Assets Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies. Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Bank reconciliations Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns for payroll Backup for AP/Payroll Any other duties as assigned by the Controller or VP of Finance and Administration Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required Experience in accounting, finance, or related roles Knowledge of accounting practices, financial reporting, and auditing standards Experience in sales, use tax, business tax, and payroll taxes. Experience with basic computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with Microsoft Business Central or Great Plains is preferred but not required Ability to manage deadlines Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Ober Mountain
