Mortgage Customer Service Representative

We are seeking customer-focused professionals to join our Mortgage Servicing team. In this role, you will assist customers with questions regarding mortgage payments, escrow accounts, homeowners insurance, and other mortgage servicing needs.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with recent customer service, call center, front desk, or administrative experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced phone-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle approximately 4560 inbound customer calls per day
• Assist borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions with mortgage servicing inquiries
• Answer questions regarding mortgage payments, escrow accounts, homeowners insurance, and related servicing matters
• Research customer concerns using multiple systems and accurately document each interaction
• Provide professional, timely, and accurate customer service
• Resolve customer concerns using strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Navigate multiple computer applications while communicating with customers
• Follow established quality, productivity, and compliance standards
• Provide a positive customer experience through clear, professional, and empathetic communication

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent customer service experience
• Call center experience preferred, but recent front desk or administrative experience may be considered
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable handling customer concerns over the phone throughout the workday
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using a Windows PC and navigating multiple applications
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
• Reliable transportation for required on-site work
• Reliable internet connection for hybrid work

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Orange, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
