Plant Manager

Plant Manager needed to run a steel fabrication plant of 100. Experience with machinery, automotive, oil and gas equipment, materials handling systems would be a suitable fit. Should have experience running a plant where welding is a primary process. With full responsibility for plant P&L, you will oversee production that keeps workers safe while maintaining cost control. Your goal in running the organization will be to produce high-quality products, manage increased volumes, and optimize facility, equipment, and manpower performance. Maintain a safety‑first, teamwork culture. Improve efficiencies in quality control, inventory, and on‑time shipments. Provide leadership, coaching, and training to shift supervisors. Make business decisions about operating and capital budget (P&L). Lead a team of people in inventory, production, supply chain, and facility maintenance. Improve plant profitability, develop quality and safety initiatives. Drive cost reduction through Lean Manufacturing practices and plant layout. REQUIREMENTS Experience in Plant Management for an equipment or machinery company is key. Should have at least five years’ experience. Should be familiar with lean manufacturing and six sigma. Experience managing skilled machine operators and maintenance workers. Should have good experience with plant budgets and managing production levels. Must be familiar with safety and quality standards such as OSHA, environmental, ISO 9001. Education in Industrial Engineering is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
