Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit, including management of inductions, antepartum, and OB triage patients
• Operate within a unit encompassing OB triage rooms, LDR rooms, OR suites, and PACU rooms, supporting an average daily delivery volume that can reach up to 14 patients
• Perform third-trimester testing and triage assessments as part of OB triage responsibilities
• Float to like units within the facility or affiliate locations as needed to meet staffing needs
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling and be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Serve in or train toward a charge nurse role as unit needs require

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted for submission; license must be in hand prior to offer)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience or willingness to train in a charge nurse capacity
• Familiarity with high-risk obstetric patient populations and antepartum care
