Construction Project Engineer - Construction - Base Salary to 85k/year - Detroit, MI Our client is a construction group providing a comprehensive range of general contracting services for industrial, automotive, higher education, and commercial construction projects. They are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support Project Managers with project coordination, documentation, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and construction administration. Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with project coordination and communication among owners, contractors, subcontractors, and project team members Provide technical support for the resolution and tracking of construction project issues Manage project document control and construction documentation Maintain project schedules and assist with construction scheduling activities Assist with planning and managing site logistics and construction logistics Facilitate project meetings and maintain meeting minutes Support and enforce corporate safety policies on job sites Coordinate project issues and resolution with subcontractors Process and track submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation Support procurement activities, including distribution of bidding documents and bidder tracking Receive, review, and evaluate contractor quotations for project changes and process change orders Assist with weekly labor and quantity tracking Assist with construction quality control and validation of approved products and materials Assist with punch list and project closeout activities Manage plan review and approval processes with local and state municipalities Qualifications Bachelor’ s degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of relevant professional construction experience Experience supporting industrial, automotive, or higher education construction projects Knowledge of construction engineering, construction technology, codes, and standards Experience with project document control, construction scheduling, submittals, RFIs, change orders, subcontractor coordination, and/or construction project administration Ability to travel to project sites as project needs require Compensation: Base salary in the 75k - 85k/year range Medical, dental, vision insurance401kPaid time offHoliday pay #INDALL #J-18808-Ljbffr AllSearch Staffing Group
