Our work depends on a ServiceNow Developer Principal joining our team to support integration and development improvements to our ServiceNow platform, including broadening its impact through module expansion, platform integration, and automation. The ServiceNow Developer Principal will be an important part of the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of our ServiceNow implementation; they will also work with external development partners and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers that leverage ITIL processes and best practices. Candidate must be a US Person (Green Card Holder/US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, US Citizen) HOW A SERVICENOW DEVELOPER PRINCIPAL WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Implement advanced automation and orchestration utilizing Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes Maintain configuration item (CI) class structures, relationship mappings, and data reconciliation rules aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Troubleshoot and resolve CI data accuracy, identification and reconciliation engine (IRE) rules, and transform map issues from automated data imports Design and build upgrade-safe custom applications using ServiceNow Studio and Application Engine, enforcing proper application scoping and access controls Design, build, and troubleshoot inbound/outbound REST and SOAP web service APIs, IntegrationHub spokes, and MID Server configurations to connect third-party platforms Collaborate with Product Owners, Process Managers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to groom user stories and translate business needs into technical designs Partners with technical stakeholders, architects, and product owners to shape solution design and platform governance Support platform upgrade cycles, instance cloning, and Automated Test Framework (ATF) execution Proactively stays on top of new capabilities in the platform Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree Demonstrated experience with CMDB architecture and scoped app development Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML/CSS, JSON, XML, and REST/SOAP Strong understanding of SDLC best practices and experience gathering requirements within an Agile/Scrum framework Proficiency in leading Scrum demos, agile ceremonies, and collaborative work groups Skill in managing customer delivery expectations and ensuring high‑quality outcomes Creative thinking applied to developing innovative solutions ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Security Clearance Level: Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust to start Location: Remote Growth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunities
