Overview
Occupational Therapist — General, located in Canaan, Connecticut. This travel assignment begins on 12/01/2026 for 13 weeks in a long-term care nursing home setting. Weekly pay is $2,130 to $2,260, with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. The schedule is 5x8 days, with shifts from 08:00 to 16:30. Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for residents
- Provide and supervise OT services to improve activities of daily living, mobility, and cognition as appropriate
- Implement therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust plans based on resident response
- Document progress in the resident’s medical record and communicate findings with the interdisciplinary team
- Educate residents and families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, and safety strategies
- Ensure care is delivered in compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Connecticut
- Degree from an accredited OT program
- Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to work a 5x8 day schedule and participate in travel-based assignments
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
