About the Position

Job Title: RN - L3-L4 NICU Profession: Nursing Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in Level 3 NICU License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 2 years Level 3 NICU experience is required. Description: This is a contract RN position for a NICU. The schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No on-call requirements are needed. The unit has 97 beds and 200 staff members. Patient ratios are 3-4 patients per RN. Staff primarily consists of RNs, with one clerk on the night shift. Typical equipment includes Medfusion pumps, Alaris, Giraffe incubators, and GE monitors. The EMR systems used are CPN and Meditech. The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, and compassionate. The dress code requires navy scrubs, with no nail polish or artificial nails permitted. This unit offers opportunities to work with new equipment and technology.
