CVOR Registered Nurse

Job Summary Registered Nurse CVOR position at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality, efficient patient care within the operating and critical care environment. Call Requirements One night per week (1830-0600). Every sixth weekend (Saturday 0600–Monday 0600) with a 30‑minute drive requirement to return if called back. Responsibilities Provide leadership and facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care for patient comfort and well‑being. Utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education. Implement medically prescribed interventions and coordinate with the surgical team. Qualifications One year of RN hospital nursing experience (preferred: CVOR or OR RN experience). Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; enrollment in an advanced degree program acceptable, with BSN completion within five years. Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS.
