A pharmacy technician position is available with a focus on retail pharmacy practice, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential. Location:

• Blue Springs, MO (4400 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111)

• Approximately 32 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, rotating shifts between 8:00am-3:00pm and 10:00am-5:30pm

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patients in person and over the phone, addressing questions, and resolving medication or insurance concerns
• Accurately process prescriptions through data entry, insurance billing, and labeling in a fast-paced retail setting averaging 150 prescriptions per day
• Support non-sterile compounding activities, with training provided, preparing medications following established procedures and safety standards
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and ensure timely dispensing
• Manage inventory by stocking medications and organizing pharmacy supplies to maintain proper storage conditions

• Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy technician experience required; experience limited to closed-door or hospital settings is not suitable for this role due to high patient interaction
• PTCB certification is advantageous but not mandatory
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a determined work ethic
