Whether you're seeking a fully onsite practice, a hybrid model with remote reading capabilities, or a flexible per diem opportunity, we have several options that may align with your professional and lifestyle goals: UNC Health Johnston – Clayton, NC Outpatient breast imaging practice 100% onsite procedural and diagnostic work Full-time and per diem opportunities available UNC Health Nash – Rocky Mount, NC Hybrid position combining onsite procedural work and remote diagnostic reads Join an established breast imaging team Full-time and per diem opportunities available UNC Health Caldwell – Greater Hickory Metro Area, NC Part-time onsite breast imaging opportunity Full-time option available with a combination of remote diagnostic and mammography reads Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities available UNC Health Rockingham – Eden, NC Flexible per diem opportunity One onsite procedural day per week (weekday of your choice) Travel and lodging provided in addition to the per diem rate In addition, UNC Health offers: Competitive compensation, sign-on incentives, and relocation assistance Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, retirement, and disability benefits Potential student loan repayment opportunities with service commitment Position Responsibilities: Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography examinations Perform breast imaging procedures, including ultrasound‑guided and stereotactic biopsies Interpret breast MRI and perform MRI‑guided breast biopsies Serve as the lead interpreting physician for breast imaging services, with responsibility for oversight of quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and accreditation of the mammography facility Participate in multidisciplinary breast tumor board conferences in collaboration with surgical, medical, and radiation oncology colleagues Support the implementation and growth of advanced breast imaging services, including contrast‑enhanced mammography Collaborate with clinical and administrative partners to support program growth and operational excellence Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: MD or equivalent Board certified or board eligible Radiologist Eligible for licensure in the State of North Carolina MQSA certification Experience with breast imaging procedures, including ultrasound, stereotactic and MRI‑guided Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or equivalent clinical experience Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary clinical teams Interest or experience in clinical program development in a community‑based setting Contact Erin Hill | Physician Recruiter cell: View phone number on click.appcast.io Email: View email address on click.appcast.io *No Recruitment Firm Solicitation #J-18808-Ljbffr Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics
