Oncology Account Manager/Sr. OAM - San Francisco, CA

The Role The Oncology Account Manager builds and maintains strong professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders in private practice, medical group practices, hospitals/academic medical centers, office, and ancillary staff involved in the care of cancer patients. The manager represents Genmab by providing approved product information and resources to key decision makers within the assigned territory. The assigned territory includes San Francisco, San Jose, and Walnut Creek, CA. Candidates must live within commuting distance. Responsibilities Support Genmab’s Oncology portfolio in the U.S. marketplace. Meet or exceed sales goals for the territory by positioning product benefits to appropriate patients. Manage time effectively, focusing on engagements that drive brand value. Develop and implement robust territory business plans and meet productivity requirements. Flex between virtual and in-person engagements and plan for account communication preferences. Analyze market data and transform insights into business planning. Build long-term customer relationships and challenge customers with value-based solutions. Represent Genmab brands professionally, compliantly, and ethically. Understand disease states, Genmab’s brands, and competitor products; articulate value across communication mediums. Understand reimbursement environment and fulfillment pathways for injectable medications. Demonstrate superior selling competencies and territorial management. Creatively gain access to customers in the modern landscape. Share knowledge and experience to foster team effectiveness. Manage territory resources and budget. Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies governing Genmab U.S. staff. Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 4+ years in sales, marketing, or clinical (pharmaceutical, biotech, rare disease, or patient care). 4+ years of proven success in Oncology sales/account management. Oncology launch experience preferred. Strong account management capabilities and a track record of meeting/exceeding goals. Business analytics skills to understand and analyze drivers and develop flexible plans. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, Veeva, etc. Flexibility and strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Commitment to operating within industry laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Compensation & Benefits Salary band: $160,000.00–$240,000.00.
