Fabricator Welder

Job Overview Experienced Fabricator/Welder required for a well‑established fabrication company based in Taunton. Location: Taunton, Somerset Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent Pay: £15–£18 per hour (depending on experience) Salary Equivalent: £31,000–£38,000 per year (DOE) Overtime: Available Start Date: As soon as available Responsibilities Fabricate and weld a variety of bespoke steelwork Work from fabrication drawings Produce items such as stairs, gantries, walkways, handrails, balconies, and structural steelwork Work as part of a skilled workshop team Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail Use modern workshop equipment and fabrication processes Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience in fabrication/welding Experience working from fabrication drawings Background in structural steel, architectural metalwork, or bespoke fabrication Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work well within a team and on own initiative Good timekeeping and reliability Willingness to learn new equipment and processes Experience with tube bending machines or robotic welding systems is beneficial; training can be provided for the right person Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm Benefits £15–£18 per hour depending on experience Permanent full‑time position 28 days holiday including bank holidays Company pension scheme Free on‑site parking Cycle to work scheme Modern, well‑equipped workshop facilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Fusion People Ltd
