Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Observation Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Observation Unit setting with a focus on telemetry monitoring
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including dress code and infection control policies

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be active and valid at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Observation or Step-Down Unit
• Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
• Experience working in a high-compliance, structured facility environment
