About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its mission-driven organization. The CFO will play a pivotal role in modernizing and strengthening the financial systems, processes, and teams that support the day-to-day operations. This includes integrating financial workflows, improving automation, and ensuring transparent and consistent financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and community-based care finance, with a focus on CCBHC and FQHC models, Medicaid reimbursement, and grants management. They should be adept at revenue cycle management, and accounts receivable, and have experience in stabilizing and modernizing finance operations. The CFO will also be responsible for overseeing financial technology and infrastructure, and must be skilled in change management, and adaptable to the needs of a mission-driven organization. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should demonstrate unquestioned integrity, high emotional intelligence, and a deep alignment with the organization's mission. The role requires a leader who can balance financial discipline with compassion, and who is committed to supporting the growth and accessibility of behavioral health services. The CFO will be expected to provide clear and actionable financial information to the Board of Directors, and to work closely with department leaders to enhance their understanding of financial matters. A collaborative, team-oriented approach is essential, as is the ability to function in both hands-on operational and strategic capacities. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to the CEO, leadership team, and Board, and will be instrumental in ensuring the financial sustainability of the organization.
