Job Summary:
The operating room open heart (OR OH) nurse is needed in Boston, Massachusetts. This position involves supporting cardiac surgical cases during night shifts. Candidates must bring their licensure on the first day and should have experience working in a level 1 trauma center. The role requires the ability to scrub and circulate cardiac cases such as heart transplants, aortic dissections, coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), and valve surgeries. The nurse may be asked to circulate other case types if cardiac cases are not scheduled.

Job Details:

• Location: Boston, Massachusetts
• Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two (2) years of circulating experience, BLS Certification, valid license to practice, willing to wait for licensure
• Certifications: BLS Certification
• Additional Information: Prefer candidates with travel experience. Experience working in a level 1 trauma center is required. Call coverage may be available if gaps or swaps occur, subject to manager approval. Weekend rotations are possible.
