Create tailored therapy plans aimed at achieving both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing objectives.

Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions that target language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.

Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including therapists, nurses, and physicians, to formulate integrated care approaches.

Provide educational guidance to patients and their families, promoting progress beyond therapy sessions.

Participate in inpatient evaluations and therapy as needed to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Document patient progress according to relevant laws and organizational policies, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest techniques and research in speech-language pathology.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting.

Adeptness in evidence-based practice across various age groups, with an in-depth comprehension of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing challenges.

Outstanding interpersonal skills, engaging patients, families, and colleagues effectively.

Skillful in modifying therapy methodologies to respect and accommodate individual cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong analytical skills coupled with sound clinical judgment.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and related documentation protocols.
