Travel Med/Surg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, floating and call required.

The Travel Med/Surg RN will be responsible for providing general medical-surgical inpatient nursing care. The role includes caring for occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor. Nurses will be put on call for census flex only if required prior to the start of the scheduled shift.

Administer patient care in a general medical-surgical unit.

Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate patient records using MedHost EMR.

Provide education and support to patients and their families.

2+ years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.

BLS certification required.

ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.

Must be registered with the state of New Mexico; fingerprinting is required for all NM travelers.
