We do whatever it takes to ensure our equipment operates at its full potential.Position SummaryAs the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead the Manufacturing Engineering department to ensure products are designed and produced efficiently, cost-effectively, and with high quality. You will be accountable for driving Design for Manufacturability (DFM), optimizing production processes, and delivering measurable value through cost reduction, productivity improvements, and innovation. You will act as a strategic partner to Design Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to enable seamless new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement.Your Key ResponsibilitiesLead and DevelopBuild and mentor a high-performing team of manufacturing engineers.Set clear goals, KPIs, and accountability for value-added contributions.Develop and execute the manufacturing engineering strategy aligned with business objectives.Collaborate Across FunctionsWork with Design Engineering to apply DFM principles early in the design phase.Partner with Production to resolve manufacturing issues and improve throughput.Collaborate with Supply Chain on sourcing decisions that impact manufacturability.Drive Process ExcellenceDesign, validate, and implement efficient manufacturing processes for new and existing products.Lead lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives.Optimize plant layout, workflow, and material handling for maximum efficiency.Manage Tools and TechnologyOversee design, procurement, and maintenance of tools, fixtures, and equipment.Evaluate and implement automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.Deliver ValueIdentify and execute cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality.Achieve measurable improvements in productivity, scrap reduction, and cycle time.Ensure ComplianceMaintain accurate process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Lead New Product IntroductionOwn manufacturing readiness for new products, ensuring smooth transition from design to production.Develop robust process validation and risk mitigation plans.Own 5S ImplementationImplement and sustain 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across the production floor.Conduct regular audits and training to maintain workplace organization and visual management.Drive cultural adoption of 5S as a foundation for lean manufacturing.Monitor and ImproveTrack and report on key metrics: cost savings, efficiency gains, quality improvements.Use data-driven analysis to prioritize improvement projects.Your Success FactorsEfficiency Gains: Percentage decrease in average machine build time.Cost Reduction: Annual savings through process improvements.Quality Metrics: Reduction in defects and scrap rates.NPI Success: On-time launch of new products with zero major manufacturing issues.DFM Impact: Percentage of design changes influenced by manufacturability feedback.5S Compliance: Audit scores and sustained improvements in workplace organization.Your Experience & EducationBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable business impact.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.Your Core ValuesEnthusiastic and persistent personality with a can-do mentality.Autonomous and organized with strong time management skills.High safety and quality awareness.What's in it for you?We offer an exciting, pivotal role within an international business environment, working with extraordinary products, great colleagues, and opportunities for professional development.
